Dear Visitor to the Calvary Episcopal School and College Prep Web Site,

Welcome to our school! We hope this virtual visit will acquaint you with Calvary Episcopal School and College Prep and the many things we have to offer to children from pre-kindergarten through grade 12. We are very proud of our fine students and their many academic and extra-curricular accomplishments. The typical Calvary student enjoys an academically advanced curriculum in a safe, nurturing environment. As a result, the average student achievement test scores are in the top 10% of the nation, four grade levels above the nation as a median score. In our middle school, over 79% of the seventh graders qualified for recognition as a Duke Talent Identification Program scholar. Sixty percent of our eighth graders are members of the National Junior Honor Society, and one hundred percent of our CECP students are members of the National Honor Society.

We also offer students the opportunity to employ their creative energies as they interact with teachers, fellow students and our community through their service to others, participation in the arts and athletics, and compete in academic meets. Most importantly, students come to school each day in a safe and nurturing environment, led by teachers who support the child and his/her individual abilities.

We are proud of our parental involvement and have an active PTO. Parents are encouraged to become a partner in their child's education. If you visit us in the morning, you will see that many of our parents join us for our daily chapel service.
