It has been a long-standing tradition at Calvary Episcopal Preperatory to begin each day in our beautiful Chapel. The entire student body, our teachers and many of the staff worship and pray together. The children provide the leadership for our service under the direction of one of the ordained ministers on the Calvary Episcopal Church staff. Our worship follows a liturgy based on the Morning Prayer service of the Book of Common Prayer. The services include hymns, contemporary music, prayers and a teaching by one of the ministers. Our goal is to expose all the children to the basic foundations of the Christian life. It is our hope that this will provide the groundwork for a loving, caring community where each child can achieve their academic potential.

Student Involvment in Chapel
At Calvary, we are proud that our daily chapel is student driven. In fact, our students make up the majority of the liturgical team. Below are the responsibilities each grade contributes towards our chapel services:
After the close of chapel, students remain seated for morning announcements which include: The Pledge of Allegiance, The Texas Pledge, Calvary School Song, Joke of the Day, Accolades and General Announcements.
